Abstract: An interview is presented with poet Annie Wright, wife of poet James Wright. Wright discusses her late husband's humor, his dissertation on author Charles Dickens, and her overprotective mother in law, as well as dysfunctional relationships in the Wright family. James Wright's poems such as "Voices Between Waking and Sleeping in the Mountains," themes of secrecy in his poetry, and his drinking problem are also mentioned.
