Abstract: Rebecca Yarros, an American author, gained recognition with her romantic-fantasy novel Fourth Wing in 2023. Before that, she wrote sixteen contemporary military romance novels. Yarros' personal experiences, including her husband's deployment to Afghanistan and her battle with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, influenced her writing. Despite some publication errors, Fourth Wing and its sequel Iron Flame received positive reception and commercial success. Yarros' work has resonated with readers, particularly for its representation of chronic illness. [Extracted from the article]
