The article discusses the automobile manufacturer Volkswagen's (VW's) cheating on the emissions tests for its VW automobiles. Volkswagen's changing the VW automobiles' modern diesel engine settings to reduce the level of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions during the testing of its automobiles, including in regard to the role that the selective catalytic reducer (SCR) plays in reducing emissions, is provided. |
