This section offers sports news briefs. A survey by SIKIDS.com found that 48 percent of children in the U.S. view that playing video games should be considered a sport. Vashti Cunningham, a junior at the Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, set a U.S. national high school record in the high jump at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, California in April 2015. The British Open of the PGA Tour of the Professional Golf Association (PGA) will be held on July 18-19, 2015 in Scotland. |
