Abstract: |
"Waiting for Petey" by Genevieve Petrillo, illustrated by Elisa Chavarri, tells the story of Tyler eagerly waiting for his teddy bear, Petey, to come out of the dryer. Tyler imagines his clothes and toys playing together in the dryer while anxiously hoping that Petey hasn't disappeared. When Petey finally emerges, Tyler is relieved and excited to tuck him in for the night. The story is featured in Humpty Dumpty Magazine, aimed at young readers, and suggests an upgrade to Jack and Jill Magazine for older children. [Extracted from the article] |
