The article reports on the financial performance of global stock market indexes. The Nikkei Stock Average increased by 7.7% or 589.98 points to 8211.90 while the FTSE 100 index also rose by 8.1% to 4242.54. The Korea Composite Stock Price Index declined by 30.19 points to 968.97. The Shanghai Composite Index also decreased by 52.01 to 1719.81. The pan-European Dow Jones Stoxx 600 index improved by 7.2% to 213.72. Share of Honda Motor gained 18% including that of Toyota Motor with 10% and Toshiba with 11%. |
