Abstract: EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Michigan State University researchers are heading a $4.7 million federal program aimed at reducing obesity among pre-school children. The East Lansing school says the five-year grant is part of a $42 million U.S. Department of Agriculture initiative. It's funded under the 2014 Farm Bill. The university says that Human development professor Holly Brophy-Herb "will lead a multidisciplinary team to address obesity prevention among families with preschoolers."
