More Details: Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause for references to the medical institution in Russia. According to the date of the National research and practical society of emergency medical care, every day about 400 thousands of Russian patients with the diagnosis of “acute coronary syndrome” are admitted to the hospitals through the emergency care services. Stress-induced cardiomyopathy is diagnosed in 2% of patients with referral diagnosis. The authors present a case of Takotsubo syndrome developed in the settings of emotional stress induced by a dental intervention.
