More Details: In the context of the 2019 pension reform, which altered the age thresholds for retirement, the need for professional adaptation of pre‐retirees has become one of the key challenges for Russian society. The increase in the retirement age requires the creation of conditions to extend the working life of older adults and enhance their competitiveness in the labor market. This article examines educational strategies that include short‐term courses, mentoring programs, distance learning, and government support measures. These approaches play a vital role in improving social competence, acquiring new professional skills, and overcoming age‐related stereotypes, thus contributing to the preservation of their economic activity. Aim. To analyze the professional adaptation of pre‐retirees through educational strategies and programs aimed at expanding their opportunities, enhancing their social competence, and developing resilience to change. Methods. Analysis of statistical data, regulatory documents, and content analysis. Results. Successful adaptation of pre‐retirees requires a systematic approach that incorporates not only professional training but also psychological support. A crucial element is the creation of flexible educational programs that take into account the needs and limitations of this age group. Such programs minimize time and financial costs, provide access to modern educational platforms, and facilitate the successful integration of pre‐retirees into economic life. All implemented measures help them not only acquire new competencies but also maintain confidence in their professional relevance. Maintaining the professional activity of this group contributes to their social inclusion and the sustainable development of society as a whole.
