Title: Gas-liquid chromatography of dialkyl, alkyl acyl, and diacyl derivatives of glycerol
Authors: Randall Wood, W.J. Baumann, Fred Snyder, H.K. Mangold
Source: Journal of Lipid Research, Vol 10, Iss 1, Pp 128-131 (1969)
Publisher Information: Elsevier, 1969.
Publication Year: 1969
Collection: LCC:Biochemistry
Subject Terms: trimethylsilyl ethers, acetates, thin-layer chromatography, Biochemistry, QD415-436
More Details: Dialkyl, alkyl acyl, and diacyl glycerols were resolved as trimethylsilyl ethers and as acetates by gas-liquid chromatography on a nonpolar stationary phase (OV-1). The two types of derivatives proved suitable for quantitative gas chromatographic analysis.
