More Details: There are many patients who do not respond to immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) immunotherapy. Here, the authors show a significant negative correlation between sphingosine kinase-1 (SK1) expression and survival for ICI-treated melanoma patients, and further show that targeting SK1 improves response to ICI in mouse cancer models.
