More Details: This study was conducted to asses the knowledge level and the attitude on the digital technologies among the dental students. The study included 123 students from the Faculty of Dental Medicine Iasi, Dental Technique Specialization, 61 from the second year and 62 from the third year. An original questionnaire was used, including 10 questions, regarding the impact of the large-scale implementation of digital technology in dentistry and, in particular, in dental laboratories. A significant percentage of dental students said that they heard about CAD/CAM and 3D Printing methods. Most consider these technologies to represent the future of prosthodontics, but at the same time believe that the widespread implementation of digital technologies would have a negative impact on the number of employees in dental laboratories.
