More Details: This paper proposes a novel design for the Hybrid single slope Solar distiller with PV powered Thermoelectric, which is a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to provide purified water without burning fuel. The use of thermoelectric modules enhances the productivity of distilled water significantly. The design recovers part of the vapor latent heat and pumps it back to the saline water, which makes it more energy efficient compared to the traditional solar distiller. The experimental results show a remarkable 672% increase in productivity, highlighting the enormous benefits of the Hybrid single slope Solar distiller with PV powered Thermoelectric design compared to traditional distillers. Additionally, a mathematical model is formulated to simulate the proposed distiller behaviour, which shows an acceptable match with the experimental results.
