More Details: In this article we describe the methods of rehabilitationand physical deconditioning syndrome of the elders, the influence of physical training to improve the quality of life.Aging is a complex process in which a multitude of pathological, genetic and lifestyle factors are involved, and which is frequently associated with a reduction in functional capacity and the presence of chronic diseases. Physical inactivity and the presence of a sedentary lifestyle represent a significant risk factor affecting the health of the elderly. The geriatric patient is a biologically aged patient who presents an acute risk of losing his independence, following acute and/or chronic pathologies, with the limitation of physical, physiological, mental and/or social functions. The ability to perform the basic activities for ordinary independent living is compromised, diminished, or lost, so the physical deconditioning syndrome occurs. The person in question has increased needs for rehabilitation, psychological and physical care to avoid partial or total lossof independence.
