More Details: SARS-CoV-2 infection of expecting mothers has been reported. Here the authors profile the peripheral blood from 14 pregnant women with asymptomatic or mild SARS-CoV-2 infection to find grossly normal immune cell composition but heterogenous induction of pro-inflammatory cytokines, thereby implicating possible therapeutic targets for virus-induced damages during pregnancy.
