Abstract: •Frequent non-coding mutations and loss of expression of BCL7A in multiple myeloma (MM) cells suggest its role as a tumor suppressor in MM.•BCL7A binds to IRF4, inhibiting its DNA binding ability in MM cells, and sequesters IRF4, impairing its transcriptional program in MM.
