| Abstract: |
The article presents a study on the effects of the bovine angiopoietin-like protein 6 (Angptl6) gene on growth traits in three Chinese native cattle breeds. It notes that the study was aimed at examining sequence variants (SVs) of the gene and analyzing their links with growth traits in these breeds. It mentions a key role of the gene in improving insulin sensitivity during growth and development of animals. Also cited are methods that were used to study SVs within the gene. |
