| Abstract: |
The author comments the debate between Grupo de Investigación de Arte Ruperte Indigena (GIPRI) and the Colombian Institute of Anthropology and History (ICANH) over the rock art in Colombia. He addresses the lack of continuous tradition of research in Colombia. He explains why majority of the bibliography and documentary material of rock researchers contain registers of chalked petroglyphs. He mentions his involvement with GIPRI and ICANH. |
