Abstract: |
The article focuses on the influence of martial arts legend and actor Brucee Lee on the martial arts and the entertainment industry. Lee's influence in popular (pop) culture can be found in Urge Overkill singer/guitarist Nash Kato calling one of the band's albums "Exit the Dragon" and comedian Eddie Murphy claiming he was imitating Lee in his film "48 Hrs." Lee's influence is also seen in the way mixed martial arts (MMA) focuses on functional technique while still being a martial art. |
