The article presents a case study of a seven-year old intact female dachshund with a weight of 4 kilograms (kg) brought at the Azabu University Veterinary Hospital in October 2006. The dog was diagnosed with intractable immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA) and hyperplastic suppurative gingivitis and was treated with cyclosporine A (CsA). Moreover, canine IMHA is discussed. |
