Abstract: Information about the paper on technical improvements in continuous flow applications that was discussed at the European Society of Isotope Research (ESIR) meeting is presented. The continuous flow applications have changed isotope ratio mass spectrometry over the last two decades and is now applied in all field of application. Bulk stable isotope analysis (BSIA) is the most commonly used continuous flow technique.
