Abstract: |
This article discusses the need for intensive care and outcomes for children with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) in Sweden. The study analyzed data from the Swedish Childhood Cancer Registry and the Swedish Intensive Care Registry to identify children diagnosed with NHL between 2008 and 2016. The study found that one-third of children with NHL required intensive care, especially during early treatment. However, ICU mortality during first-line treatment was low. The study highlights the importance of intensive care for children with NHL and provides valuable insights into their outcomes. [Extracted from the article] |
