Abstract: The Flinders Ranges in South Australia is a mountain range that stretches over 260 miles and has peaks reaching up to 3,900 feet in height. The area is home to ancient Aboriginal history, with Aboriginal people living there for over 50,000 years. While the national park and Wilpena Pound are popular attractions, there are also privately owned cattle stations that offer luxury camping and four-wheel driving experiences. Other highlights of the Flinders Ranges include Chambers Gorge, wildlife sightings, and the unique Paralana hot springs, which are heated by the decay of radioactive elements. Overall, the Flinders Ranges is a rugged and remote destination with stunning landscapes and a rich cultural history. [Extracted from the article]
