The article focuses on identifying environmental exposures associated with the risk of sarcoidosis in African Americans. Topics include the study sample of 2,096 self-identified African Americans with and without sarcoidosis, genetic data analysis based on genome-wide genotype data, and the criteria for classifying sarcoidosis cases in the study. |
