Abstract: The article presents case studies of an 11-year-old who was hospitalized due to bleeding in the mouth and rashes and a 14-month-old girl who was admitted to a hospital for prolonged fever, loss of appetite, and cough. Both patients were diagnosed with hepatitis A virus (HAV) infection associated with hematologic complications. The treatment for each patient is also discussed.
