Abstract: |
Billionaire Ong Beng Seng's guilty plea in a case involving a former Singapore government minister has been delayed due to his medical condition. Ong requested more time to obtain detailed reports from his doctors, and prosecutors did not object to the delay. Ong, 79, was initially scheduled to plead guilty on April 2 to obstructing justice, with another charge taken into consideration for sentencing. The next closed-door hearing is set for April 25, and Ong, the managing director of Hotel Properties Ltd., remains out on bail. [Extracted from the article] |
