| Abstract (English): |
An increasing number of companies are aware that only long-term thinking, grounded in respect for the environment, ensures their sustainable survival in the market. Given that the natural environment has a unique way of expressing itself, it has responded to humanity with various changes that have become quite concerning on a global scale. As the urgency for the survival of humanity grows, particularly due to climate change and the emergence of various diseases, human awareness is slowly beginning to embrace the necessity of behavior conditioned by a new concept: sustainability. The aim of this paper is to highlight how the acceptance and implementation of green accounting and green auditing in contemporary business practices are essential for meeting the needs of future generations and reducing harmful impacts on the environment. Sve veći broj preduzeća svjestan je da samo dugoročno promišljanje temeljeno na uvažavanju okruženja osigurava dugoročan opstanak na tržištu. S obzirom na to da prirodna sredina ima poseban jezik izražavanja, ona je čovjeku odgovorila raznim promjenama, koje su na globalnom nivou postale itekako zabrinjavajuće. Kako je briga za opstankom čovječanstva postala sve više izražena, obzirom na promjenu klimatskih faktora, pojavom raznih bolesti, čovjekova svijest je polako počela da prihvata nužnost ponašanja, uslovljenu novim konceptom, a to je održivost. Cilj rada je ukazati kako je prihvatanje i primjena zelenog računovodstva i zelene revizije u savremenom poslovanju preduzeća neophodno za zadovoljenje potreba budućih generacija, kao i smanjiti štetan uticaj na okolinu.
