Abstract (English): The book "The Era of Global Economic Crises (1929-2022)" is a compilation that analyzes the major economic crises that have affected the world in the 20th and 21st centuries. The authors examine the causes and consequences of each crisis from a multidisciplinary and long-term perspective. The book focuses on specific crises such as the one in 1929, the oil crisis in the 1970s, and the financial crisis of 2008, among others. The importance of studying a set of crises rather than just the most well-known ones is highlighted. The text also addresses the external debt crisis in Latin America in the 1980s, the crises during globalization in the 1990s, the global financial recession of 2008-2013, and the consequences of the pandemic. The book offers a Spanish perspective on these crises and their impact on the global, regional, and Spanish economy. [Extracted from the article]
