Abstract: |
The article discusses a comprehensive policy to integrate computer science (CS) into the national education system in Argentina. This initiative, developed by the Sadosky Foundation's Program.AR initiative, includes extensive teacher training, the creation of culturally appropriate educational materials in Spanish, and a digital programming tool called Pilas Bloques, which emphasizes gender diversity and is designed for children aged 5-12. Additionally, the program has fostered collaborations with universities and local institutions, leading to significant advancements in CS education across multiple provinces, and the development of innovative teacher training colleges focused on CS didactics. |
