The article offers news briefs related to plant protection and cultivation. Planting grasses very densely with other plants can lead to moisture retention at the base of leaves during low light intensity and lower temperatures. Viola plants may develop purple leaf spots caused by fungi like Ramularia or Mycocentrospora acerina or bacterial infections.
