Abstract: The article focuses on comments of several researchers on temperature-dependent stock-recruit modeling for Pacific sardine. It states that spawner–recruit models with the dependent variables including log recruitment were estimated by L.D. Jacobson and A.D. MacCall. It informs that S. McClatchie and colleagues estimated a significant relationship between log recruitment and spawning biomass and M. Lindegren and D. M. Checkley examined the temperature effects on Pacific sardine recruitment.
