Abstract: The article presents a study which evaluated the influence of various amounts of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) on bark-phenol-formaldehyde (BPF) adhesives' properties. The study developed a synthetic technology for the creation of BPF adhesives. Results revealed that NaOH amount in the third charge had vital effect on many adhesive properties of BFP.
