Carious lesions and dental trauma continue to be the main reasons for compromising dental pulp, especially in primary teeth. These situations result in irreversible damage to the dental pulp, making it necessary to perform endodontic treatment. This literature review explores the effectiveness of CTZ paste in the endodontic treatment of primary teeth, a topic of great interest in pediatric dentistry due to its clinical relevance. The objective is to analyze the impacts and transformations in the results obtained, highlighting the importance of effective and safe methods to preserve the primary dentition, ensuring the healthy oral development of children. As lesões cariosas e os traumas dentários continuam a ser os principais motivos relacionados ao comprometimento da polpa dentária, especialmente nos dentes decíduos. Essas situações resultam em danos irreversíveis à polpa dentária, implicando a necessidade de realizar tratamento endodôntico. Esta revisão de literatura explora a eficácia da pasta CTZ no tratamento endodôntico de dentes decíduos, um tema de grande interesse na odontopediatria devido à sua relevância clínica. O objetivo é analisar os impactos e as transformações nos resultados obtidos, destacando a importância de métodos eficazes e seguros para preservar a dentição decídua, assegurando o desenvolvimento oral saudável das crianças.
