Abstract: The article discusses a case report of a 46-year-old woman with eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease (EGID) who developed scurvy due to dietary restrictions. The patient presented with lobular panniculitis of the lower legs, which was initially misdiagnosed. A comprehensive workup revealed vitamin C deficiency as the cause, leading to successful treatment with oral vitamin C supplementation. The patient achieved remission of EGID with medication, highlighting the importance of dermatologists in managing skin manifestations of EGID and the significance of early detection and treatment of nutritional deficiencies to prevent complications.
