Abstract: |
The study included the use of technogenic ore formations from the metallurgical industry of the Republic of Armenia for hydrometallurgical treatment in laboratory conditions. In the course of the study, a new complex pyrohydrometallurgical technological method was proposed, which is designed to effectively extract metals in the form of concentrates from technogenic ore formations, and produce technical silicon dioxide from materials resistant to chemical reagents. Within the framework of this method, raw materials obtained from technogenic formations are melted using certain chemical reagents, after which the resulting melt is dissolved in an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid in specially created gel-like conditions. The reduced silicic acid then undergoes a purification process by dissolving in a weak aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid to remove impurities, and then undergoes heat treatment in atmospheric air to convert into silicon dioxide. The metals contained in technogenic ore formations are separated into solid and liquid concentrates. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
