Abstract: |
This article provides an overview of dermatological disorders that can lead to varioliform scars, which resemble smallpox scars. The disorders are divided into two categories: those that cause generalized skin lesions and those that cause localized skin lesions. The article discusses various disorders in each category, including chickenpox, smallpox, papulonecrotic tuberculid, secondary syphilis, acne necrotica, and lupus miliaris disseminatus faciei. The goal of the article is to classify these disorders, explain their causes, and offer a clinical approach for patients with varioliform scars. [Extracted from the article] |
