Histopathological diagnosis is considered to be a definitive diagnosis for fungal infection because fungal elements are found in the infected tissue foci, and colonization could be ruled out. Spherical fungal cells are detected in many kinds of fungal infections including cryptococcosis. pointing to the need for their histopathological distinction. This paper discusses the morphological and staining characteristics of Cryptococcus in tissues and its differentiation from other fungi with spherical elements such as Candida, Pneumocystis, Sporothrix, Scedosporium, and Aspergillus. 真菌症の病理組織学的診断は真菌菌体が存在する感染巣を確認できることから確定診断となりうる。これによりコロニ ゼーションも除外できる。クリプトコックス症をはじめとして類円形菌体が組織中に認められる真菌症は多数あり、それぞれ に組織学的鑑別が必要である。種々のクリプトコックス症における組織内菌体の形態および染色性について特徴を述べた。 また類円形菌体が組織中に認められるカンジダ症、ニューモシスチス症、スポロトリックス症、スケドスポリウム症、および アスペルギルス症についてクリプトコックス症との鑑別に主眼をおいて解説した。 [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
