Abstract: Studies concerning military sexual trauma (MST) among men point to the underreporting of this experience due to barriers related to military culture. During the time of the policy of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, there were systemic problems in reporting sexual behavior among military personnel of the same sex. For similar reasons there were insufficient efforts to conduct research into evidence-based practices that might help victims of male-to male MST. This article will discuss progress in developing research and treatment programs focused on male victims of MST. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
