Abstract: Our results were obtained by determining the proximal femoral epiphysis angles on 58 dry femurs. The angle of inclination was found to range from 116.20-143.20°, the average angle value being 130.75°. The declination angle value was between 18,30-33,80°, the average angle value was 39.73°. The angle formed between the axis of the greater trochanter and the axis of the anatomical neck was found to be 62.40-90.10°, the average of the angle values being 82.38°. The angle formed between the axis of the greater trochanter and the upper edge of the anatomical neck was found to be 67.20-103.40°, with an average angle value of 86.18°. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
