The formulation of cosmeceutical products containing plant and animal compunds is the current concern of many researchers in the pharmaceutical field and it is the subject of many specialized studies. Natural active ingredients from the oleoresins and vegetable sources are frequently used in the field of cosmeceuticals due to their medical properties, among which the most important are the antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action. In this minireview, we presenetd the bioactive ingredients obtained from the resins of the Boswellia species, their general characteristics and the mechanisms of action by which the analyzed compounds can produce a beneficial effect. Due to the demonstrated effectiveness, numerous cosmeceutical products contain compounds obtained from the resins of Boswellia species. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |

Formularea produselor cosmeceutice care conțin produse vegetale şi animale este preocuparea actuală a multor cercetători din domeniul farmaceutic şi face obiectul multor studii de specialitate. Ingredientele active naturale din categoriile oleorăşini şi surse vegetale se folosesc frecvent în sfera cosmeceuticii datorită proprietăților sale medicale, printre care cele mai importante fiind acțiunea antibacteriană, antifungică, antiinflamatoare şi antioxidantă. În cadrul acestui micro-review au fost prezentate ingredientele bioactive obținute din răşini ale speciei Boswellia, caracteristicile lor generale şi mecanismele de acțiune prin care compuşii analizați pot produce un efect benefic. Datorită eficacității demonstrate, numeroase produse cosmeceutice au în compoziție compuşi obtinuți din răşinile speciilor de Boswellia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
