An instrument-free method for detecting the ability of Vibrio cholerae strains to produce toxin has been developed. It is based on dot-ELISA performed on dipstiks. Dipsticks require 100 times less monoclonal antibodies than microplate ELISA. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
