Abstract: The article focuses on research on capacity of tissue to regenerate potential of resident cells to replace cells lost to injury and mentions injuries to the central nervous system (CNS) leading to impairment. Topics disucssed include neural stem cell which has spinal cord residing population of ependymal cells, insufficient replacement of myelin-forming oligodendrocytes and RNA sequencing used by transposase-accessible chromatin.
