Abstract (English): Leonardo Da Vinci was one of the most outstanding artists of the mankind. His interest in human problems were according to the trend of the global knowledge of the Middle Age. This polyhistorism and erudition of Renaissance type has led Leonardo to the morphological sciences. Hence his interest in the anatomy of humans and animals. This paper is a review of the contributions of Leonardo Da Vinci to the progress of the knowledge on anatomy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Romanian): Leonardo Da Vinci a fost unul dintre cei mai proeminneţi artişti ai omenirii. Intereseul său faşă de problemele umanităţii se înscru în tendinţa cunoaşterii globale din Evul Mediu. Polihistorismul şi erudiţia lui Leonardo l-au condus spre ştiinţele morfologice. De aici interesul său faţă de anatomia umană şi a animalelor. Această lucrare reprezintă o trecere în revistă a contribuţiilor lui Leonardo Da Vinci la progresul cunoştinţelor anatomice.
