The article discusses food security in the midst of global warming. The United Nations defined the existence of food security when all people, at all times, have access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs for a healthy lifestyle. Doubling the food with half the resources by 2050 is what men need to do to provide food security for all 8.5 billion people in that year but it will become a challenge due to climate change. The author says that this is not just a climate change issue, it is an effect of the changing atmosphere. |
