Abstract: The Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster is a unique pickup truck developed by British-owned chemical conglomerate Ineos with assistance from Austria's Magna Steyr. It is assembled in a former Mercedes-Benz plant in France and features a BMW-sourced turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine. While it may not have the same acceleration as a BMW, the Quartermaster is built to withstand time rather than prioritize speed. It comes equipped with front and rear live axles, a two-speed transfer case, and locking differentials. The interior is high-quality and reminiscent of a long-standing automaker. The Quartermaster has a four-door cab and a 5.1-foot bed with a payload capacity of 1840 pounds. The higher price of the Quartermaster compared to the Ineos Grenadier SUV is largely due to the "chicken tax," a tariff on light trucks. Overall, the Quartermaster is not intended to be a mainstream offering but rather a unique and rugged option. [Extracted from the article]
