The article presents information on a final rule issued by the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission of the U.S. Department of Energy regarding approval of reliability standards for automatic underfrequency load shedding and load shedding plans proposal for which has been submitted by North American Electric Reliability Corp. This final rule has been issued in accordance with the Federal Power Act of the U.S. The rule will be effective by July 10, 2012. |
