The article presents medical malpractice case law update for 2017. Topics discussed include legislative changes to Indiana Medical Malpractice Act in 1975, case McKeen v. Turner, 71 N.E.3d in which the Supreme Court held that a medical malpractice plaintiff is permitted to raise a new theory of negligence before the trial court in certain cases and Totten v. Bukofchan in which the Court of Appeals held that chiropractors were unqualified to render an opinion. |
